Visual Entertainment (Art)

Students spend time developing personal projects that could incorporate painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, video, textiles, photography, print making or a combination of these. Teachers coach and mentor the students through the course, developing their creative abilities. Students don’t have to be good at art to enrol in this course, their skills will be fostered along the way.

Prerequisite: Nil

Pathway: Visual Entertainment leads to ATAR Visual Art or Certificate III Visual Arts in Year 11.

Year 10 Wearable Art

Students have the freedom to create a range of wearable art. Teachers will mentor and coach the students through a range of art based techniques using fashion as a vehicle. Students don’t have to be good at drawing to select this subject, a number of visual skills will be taught which develop student confidence. 2D and 3D designs are incorporated into two projects over the course. Students are given the opportunity to create and make fashion inspired projects.

Prerequisite: Nil

Pathway: Year 10 Wearable Art leads to ATAR Visual Art or Certificate III Visual Arts in Year 11.
